"Pop In For Perfect Attendance" in March. VMS will be rewarding students for perfect attendance in March with a Popcorn Party the day before Spring Break. We will also have a drawing for gift cards and other prizes for the students that have perfect attendance in March. Let's be here and in our classes for the month of March! VERNON MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH BOWL

Vernon Middle School students demonstrated their math skills as they competed in a Math Bowl on Monday December 13. Competing in front of their peers, parents, and educators, teams of three students worked to solve problems in a 4 minute time period.

The winning teams were 6th grade: Caden Norris, Michael Wilson, Kayson Hawkins. 7th grade: Nylah Brown, Carlie Whitfield, Mya Hunter. 8th grade: Jess Renfroe, Drake Boswell, Thomas Brown.

Vernon Middle would like to thank the following businesses and educators for their support of the school’s Math Bowl: Holmes Creek Pizza & Pasta, Jack Elliott and RS&H, Inc., Graphic Designs & Signs, School Board Members Dr. Lou Cleveland and Susan Roberts, WCSD office staff Susan Saunders, Jiranda White, and Kim Registe.
